First American Edition. Separately published the same year in plain dark cloth in London. This book is in fair condition, with some slight warping or puckering to original Big Dipper/North Star cover boards, binding is strong and spine intact, however one leaf has been found fallen loose perhaps missing. It is a terrific artifact, and as I am reading I may find the leaf tucked in. Otherwise I'll enclose a facsimile. Price is reflective of condition on this otherwise complete intact and original printing on the advancement of women, and Arctic exploration.
